How the Suno test was run
- Twenty Suno tracks were selected from a public research collection linking to Suno-hosted files.
- Each track was clipped to 30 seconds, encoded as 192 kbps stereo MP3, stripped of metadata, and renamed to an anonymous ID.
- The provider returned a classification, AI probability, likely source, model version, and latency.
- Known labels were compared only after the provider result was recorded.
What the result does—and does not—show
This batch shows that the tested model recognized all 20 selected Suno outputs, including the lowest-confidence sample at 87%. It does not establish universal Suno detection accuracy. New Suno models, remastering, stems, human overdubs, heavy edits, and short or noisy clips may behave differently.
Five Suno samples were also converted from 192 kbps stereo to 128 kbps mono. None changed verdict in that small robustness check. Read the paired compression results rather than assuming every audio edit is harmless.
Use the detector alongside credits, creator disclosures, source files, stems, and other provenance evidence—especially before rejecting a release or accusing a creator.
